2020 BETFRED WORLD MATCHPLAY TO TAKE PLACE BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

Day 7 of the 2020 World Matchplay takes place at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

Last night delivered another thrilling evening of darts, which featured the two quarter final matches in the top half of the draw. In the first game, Michael Smith reached back to back World Matchplay semi finals after coming through a tough battle to see off a resolute Krzysztof Ratajski. Then in the other game, Gary Anderson eventually saw off Simon Whitlock in a topsy turvy match, despite Anderson missing a bucket lot of double.

Coming up tonight, we have the two quarter final matches in the bottom half of the draw. First up is the two time world champion Adrian Lewis taking on Belgium’s Dimitri Van den Bergh, and then after that, the three time world champion Glen Durrant takes on the experienced Dutchman Vincent van der Voort.

Who will book their places into tomorrow’s semi finals? And what drama will today bring?
