A big weekend of darts starts today with 2 European Tour qualifiers on the Agenda.
98 players face off for the 24 spots available for the Belgian Darts Championships (Euro Tour 1) which takes place in Hasselt, Belgium 28 Feb-1 March.
With the qualification set at 24 spots most players will have to win two matches in order to qualify.
The 4 players who have to win three matches are Darts Mad’s very own Matthew Edgar who faces Harald Leitinger of Austria and Scott Baker who takes on Ryan Murray.
After the 24 qualifiers for Hasselt are confirmed the players will be straight into action again for the qualifier for the European Darts Grand Prix (Euro Tour 2) which takes in Sindelfingen, Germany March 20-22. Once again under the new qualifying structure of the Euro Tour 24 spots are up for grabs.
Saturday and Sunday see Players Championship events 3 and 4 take place.
All events can be followed live on Darts Connect and the two players championship events will have 2 streaming boards available through the PDC Live streams
Up in Scotland the action sees the Scottish Open taking place with our very own Carter Guiney taking part in the Men’s singles and the Men’s pairs events. We wish Carter all the very best representing Darts Mad for the first time. Remember to enjoy yourself on the Oche Carter!
