PDC world championship tickets

The PDC has announced that 2000 tickets are to go back on sale.

2000 PDC World Championship tickets back on sale will be music in the ears of many darts fans across the globe. Here at dartsmad we welcome this news and hope that this is the beginning of the end for ticket touts and encourage the PDC to keep working hard to prevent it.

PDC World Championship tickets back on sale

As with most huge events, the PDC has suffered in the past with ticket agencies and touts mass buying tickets for their flagship events. These tickets find their way on to illegal resale websites, with prices sky rocketing as people who missed out on the regular sale clamoring to buy a seat at their favourite sporting event.

Together with official partner SeeTickets the 2000 tickets have been identified and cancelled, and re-issued for sale on the official sale website

Barry Hearn spoke about this exciting news:

“This news highlights the PDC’s continued commitment to ensuring tickets end up in the hands of genuine darts fans,” said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.

“Once again, SeeTickets have helped us clamp down on secondary ticket sales to ensure the William Hill World Darts Championship will be seen by as many genuine fans as possible.”

The next edition of the tournament will take place between 13 December 2019 and 1 January 2020 at the Alexandra Palace in London. It can be watched on Sky Sports, or via the SkyGo mobile app, but users without Sky television that have NOW TV can buy passes for a day, week or month as desired (ranging from £9.99 to £33.99).

Sport 1 in Germany and RTL 7 in The Netherlands will once again be offering full coverage of the PDC world championships as the 2019 season comes to an end over the Christmas and new year festive season. The New world champion will be crowned on Jan 1st 2020.
