Raymond van Barneveld thanks fans

The morning after the night before. This is when Raymond van Barneveld has chosen to thank the crowd in Amsterdam for their support. Some had seen his swift exit from the stage after his defeat to Chizzy at the World Series Finals as a bit of an insult.

In this tweet Raymond says the Barney Army have been behind him through thick and thinand that they know he comes to win not to lose. He describes his disappointment at his loss being the reason he just wanted to get off the stage, disappointment made all the bigger due to playing in front of a home crowd.

With the second tweet Raymond states that the image of him applauding them is for all his fans albeit it bit late. He thanks the fans for their unconditional support.

He signs off by expressing his desire to put up a huge show at the World Championships as this has been the plan all year.

Fans in Holland will have another chance to see Barney live on stage on February 8th 2020 when the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam will be transformed into Barney Dome for one night only. There are a few tickets left so if you want to see this special event be quick!
