Sherrock Asada Suzuki all skip Challenge tour

The entries for the first 4 events of the PDC Challenge tour this weekend have been announced.

All players who competed at Q-School and didn’t win a tour card last weekend are eligible to play on the challenge tour in 2020.

Some notable absentees from the entry list for this first of 5 weekends are:

Segio Asada, Fallon Sherrock and Mikuru Suzuki. Recent tour card holders Aaron Monk and Zoran Lehbacher are also missing from the entry list.

Sherrock is competing in a series of exhibition events in The Netherlands which explains her skipping the events but this will damage her chances of winning a tour card through the order of merit with only 20 events available.

BDO stars Beau Greaves and Scott Mitchell are in attendance indicating a possible permanent switch to the PDC ranks. Former stars of the game Robbie Green and Kevin Painter are both making the trip back to Wigan for the events.

Paul Nicholson had previously indicated his need for a break after a busy commentary and pundit schedule at both the BDO and PDC world championships.
